This 2-day workshop will discuss dance science and how to incorporate safe dance practices into your studio. Topics include: warm up and cool down for varied bodies; knee function in plié; pelvic placement and its role in upper and lower extremity movements; proper stretching for hypermobile and non-hypermobile dancers; preparing for inversion work; and dancer screenings.
